DATA ANALYST:

Develop data strategy solutions utilizing ETL to support business requirements. Plan, design, and enhance data warehousing relating to business intelligence strategies. Extract Transform and Load (ETL) data warehousing design, development, and utilizing star-schema (dimensional) data models. Create schema structure, tables, DMLs and stored procedures in PL/SQL. Analyze large amounts of data and create visualizations and dashboards in order to provide accurate and actionable information. Facilitate all aspects of architecting, designing, developing, testing and implementing ETL solutions. Design and implement data staging, including staging database design and staging logic. Design ETL processes in SSIS (or other comparable tools), including data read/write, filtering and merging, data transformations, error handling, process design and logging. Build data warehouses for business intelligence solutions. Change dimensions and data archiving utilizing specific transformations. Develop and organize high-quality documentation. Perform analysis and provides insight into potential process improvements (performance tuning). Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field with one year of experience in any related occupation is required. Work location: Durham, NC and may travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
