PROJECT MANAGER - MID:

Facilitate in-person research - formulate, test and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing to gain deep customer understanding and conduct Design Thinking, Agile, and LEAN rituals to promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of product and roadmap. Analyze users’ needs and then design and develop software to meet those needs. Determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience and recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems. Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together. Create a variety of models and diagrams showing programmers the software code needed for an application. Collaborate with team members (Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments. Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities and track product performance and ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing. Set product vision, conduct road mapping, goal setting, and participate in story writing, project execution, A/B testing, and product roll-out strategy. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field with one year of experience in any related occupation is required. Work location: Durham, NC and may travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
