Job Title : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Type: Fulltime


Job duties:

  • Analyze users’ needs, develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, or documentation.
  • Perform functional testing to identify various critical points in the software application.
  • Create automation framework using Java, Cucumber BDD, Gherkin and Selenium WebDriver, utilize tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub for managing code for automation scripts, and use Continuous Integration pipeline such as Jenkins to run automated test suites.
  • Analyze automation results once scripts execution in completed.
  • Use build management tools such as Maven, Gradle to automate test scripts.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings and provide QA manual and automation status on different user stories.
  • Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.
  • Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with one year of experience in any related occupation is required. Work location: Durham, NC and may travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.
